The matriculation exam for 2022-23 academic year is set to be held across the Southeast Asian country on March 8-18 this year, according to the ministry. This year's exam is the last one of old basic education system of Myanmar. Starting from the next academic year, the country will fully replace the old system with a new one, which will extend schooling by two years. In last academic year of 2021-2022, a total of 281,751 students sat for the nationwide matriculation exam of Myanmar, registering a pass rate of 46.8
